A preliminary investigation into attempted murder or serious assault has been initiated, according to the police who received a tip about the man at 6:20 p.m. The police patrol established that he had an injury to his upper body. The police do not say how the damage occurred.
The man has been identified. He is a native of Gävle.
There is no suspect yet.
