Man attacked by dog ​​in Enköping – taken to hospital by ambulance

It was around 7pm that the man was attacked by the dog in a shopping area in Enköping. He was bitten on the arm. The dog had torn away from its owner, a woman in her 50s. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The dog owner is now suspected of causing bodily harm as well as breaching the law on supervision of dogs and cats.

The police have no information to share about the condition of the man’s injuries, or about what kind of dog it was that attacked.

The incident will now be dealt with by the National Police Animal Welfare Unit. This type of case then goes on to the county administrative board for further processing.
