The woman in her 20s was found dead in a home on Christmas Day. The police received the alarm shortly before 6 p.m. after emergency medical services were called to an address.
The police do not want to give any details about either the arrest or the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
– I cannot go into more detail about it, other than that he was arrested and has been detained, says the police spokesperson Philip Annasbut adds that the victim and the arrestee knew each other “in some way”.
— We are now investigating how the woman died.
The suspect will be questioned during the day.
