On Tuesday evening, the police were called to an address in Katrineholm. A deceased man in his 40s was found dead and in the home there was also another man who is now arrested by prosecutors on suspicion of murder or causing the death of another.
– There are uncertainties surrounding the death, says Dennis Johansson Strömberg, police spokesperson.
The home is cordoned off for a forensic examination and according to the police there are circumstances which mean that crime cannot be ruled out and a preliminary investigation has been launched.
– We choose to categorize this at the moment as murder or as an alternative to causing the death of another, so we’ll see where the investigation leads, says Dennis Johansson Strömberg.
Next of kin are notified.
