The man is suspected of having raped three girls in different places during April.
– We have received very good stories from the three girls, so I think we have a good state of evidence, says Carolyn Westeröd, prosecutor and head of preliminary investigation, to Borås Tidning.
According to the prosecutor, the investigation against the man also includes a fourth plaintiff. However, the criminal suspicion, which concerns attempts to exploit children for sexual posing, was not raised during the arrest hearing.
According to Borås Tidning, the man contacted some of the children via an app and lured them with alcohol and drugs.
The preliminary investigation now continues with the examination of witnesses, analysis of technical evidence and examination of the man’s telephone.
