A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after assaulting a woman indoors in Skara on the night of Easter Sunday.
– She became quite ill there and was taken to hospital by ambulance, says Morten Gunneng, officer on duty at the police.
The alarm about the assault, which is said to have taken place indoors, came in shortly after midnight. According to witnesses, the man, who has a relationship with the woman, allegedly strangled her. He ran from the scene and was arrested outside.
