Man arrested for attempted murder in Sjöbo

A man in his 60s is under arrest on suspicion of attempted murder of a man in his 40s in Sjöbo, Scania.

– We receive a call from the emergency room during the night that a man has come in with stab wounds. Plaintiffs initially do not want to say too much, but we eventually come to the conclusion that the crime scene is in Sjöbo municipality, says Sara Andersson, spokesperson for the police.

At the scene, the police were able to arrest a man in his 60s, who has now been arrested. The alarm came in at 01:49. It is unknown how injured the man is and what relationship he has to the detainee.
