“A person has been arrested on suspicion of serious weapons offense illegal threats,” says Nils Norling, press spokesman at the Malmö police.
The regional intervention force carried out the operation in a home in Malmö during Monday morning. Several police officers with reinforcement weapons participated in the operation.
With a hood above the head, a man was taken out by police from the building.

According to information to TV4 News, the suspect is a man in his 20s. The police spokesman in Malmö, Nils Norling, confirms that a person has been arrested on suspicion of serious weapons crime and illegal threats.
The operation was part of an ongoing investigation and the police do not want to comment on the incident further. Nils Norling states that this type of effort is carried out as soon as the police have received information that can be substantiated.
