Police closed Plank Line (Highway 19) between Curry Road and Highway 401 including the eastbound on-ramp to Highway 401, Oxford OPP said.

“It began around 5 pm yesterday and we concluded a little after 10 pm last night at that actual scene,” Crawford said.

“All I can say is that whenever there’s an investigation such as this, the abundance of caution and safety is paramount.”

Crawford said nobody was injured during the arrest. Extra officers were brought in, including members of the provincial repeat offender parole enforcement squad.
