On May 16, the police were alerted to the residential area Nacksta in Sundsvall, where a man in his 35s had been found dead in his home. According to the police, the man must have been subjected to external violence.
A 45-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of murder, he writes Sundsvalls Tidning.
– He was arrested in his absence on Wednesday and was subsequently arrested. He is still in custody, says Josefine Perming-Tengqvist, group leader in serious crimes at the police in Västernorrland, to the newspaper.
The police will interrogate the man and his defender during the day.
Another person was arrested in mid-June on suspicion of involvement in the suspected murder, but was released shortly afterwards.
