Chatham-Kent police attended a Joseph Street address in Chatham on Saturday for a bail violation complaint.
A 22-year-old Chatham man was located and arrested. Upon a search, he was allegedly found to be in possession of a dagger.
He was charged with failing to comply with his release conditions, taken to headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Break-ins investigated
Police attended at Forest Street residence in Chatham on Saturday for a call of a break and enter.
Investigation revealed that several items valued at approximately $4,900 were stolen.

In a separate matter, police attended a residence in the William Street area in Chatham. Investigation revealed that a bicycle and liquor were stolen.
