Man 19 faces multiple charges in Brantford shooting investigation

Police are seeking information from the public related to a man being shot on Thursday at a location on Bowery Road.

Police say they were asked to assist with an ambulance call at about 3 pm involving a 29-year-old who was injured.

Officers found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital with injuries they say are not life-threatening.

Police say additional information will be provided when it becomes available.

No information about the suspect is currently available, say police. Officers are on the scene to investigate and are canvassing for video in the area.
