Otto Rosengren, 20, was recruited from Mjällby this summer. Since the transfer, however, he has received little playing time and against Varberg he started on the bench again.
But once he came on in the second half, he needed just three minutes before he struck with a real dream goal.
– I was damn hungry to play. I hope you saw it on the pitch, he says in Discovery.
The 20-year-old received the ball in midfield and fired a shot from distance to make it 3-0. Untouchable for Fredrik Andersson in the Varbergs goal.
– I got so excited when I saw the whole goal in front of me. I got a really good hit.
The goal was his second in the Malmö shirt.

Before that, Sebastian Nanasi had given Malmö the lead early in the first half.
– It’s a little pinball there that then bounces right and then I get an open goal. It was just a matter of putting it in, he says of the goal in Discovery.
The match finally ended 5-0 after goals from, among others, Stefano Vecchia and Taha Ali.
With the victory, Malmö takes over the league lead. They are one point ahead of Elfsborg, who have, however, played one game less.
