Malin and Jacob celebrate ten years of love: “We danced

Love for Jacob and Malin was only a click away when they met for the first time during a disco ball in northern Scania. Two years later they got engaged and last weekend they exchanged rings.
– It was actually great fun. We ate food and drink and everything possible, says Jacob Andersson in Efter fem.

With an extra chromosome and perhaps a little extra love in their hearts, Jacob Andersson, 32, and Malin Hubertsson, 34, met when they walked the baseline at Glimåkra folk high school in north-eastern Scania. During the school disco, they danced to the tunes of Kikki Danielsson’s “Bra vibrations” and then love hit like a bomb.

We really danced and it clicked. It was his charm that I fell for. He was absolutely wonderful, says Malin Hubertsson about the meeting with Jacob.

After the unforgettable dance night, they were a couple. Love took them all the way to Gran Canaria and there the next step on the love ladder was taken. Engagement.

The teacher who became a priest

But there was no celebration at home in Sweden until this weekend when the couple exchanged rings once again. Food and drinks were served to loved ones and Malin and Jacob exchanged rings. The priest who attended was not just any priest, but actually the couple’s teacher in Glimåkra. At the school where it said click for the first time.

Now we are planning a wedding and it will be great later in the future. There are a few wedding nerves in the body, says Malin Hubertsson.
