In Mali, it has been just a year, on Monday, that almost all political organizations and Malian civil society signed the declaration of March 31, to demand the return to constitutional order. More than four and a half years after the coup of August 2020 and several postpones, no date is scheduled for the organization of elections. The last deadline, fixed by the transitional authorities themselves, provided for the end of the transition no later than March 26, 2024. The opponent in exile Ismaël Sacko, president of the African Social Democratic Party (PSDA), signatory of the declaration of March 31, denounces a “impasse”.
