Before turning full-time racing earlier this year, he delighted fans with a guest appearance on season 3 of the popular police series The Rookie.

On Netflix: Frankie Muniz plays a former child star – and narcissistic cult leader – in The Rookie Season 3

The Rookie episode starring Frankie Muniz is the 7th episode of the 3rd season and is called A Fallen Star. The Malcolm in the Middle makers threw all sitcom rules on the pile back then. One reason for the great success was definitely the new, action-packed narrative style and the aggressive marketing. But none of this would have been possible without the socio-critical subtext and the casting by Frankie Muniz & Co.
