How come over-refreshed and drunken football fans get to chant, rant, shout and march in endless and wide lines before a match? Horde after horde poured out of the subway on Thursday where no one else barely dared or could get there the other day.
Once again, they took the right to roll over and drive over everyone else. However, police and police cars were everywhere (thank goodness).
I happened to be on the way to the Globe Center, near Tele 2 Arena with my little grandson when the screaming and singing hordes came out. They took both the shortcut through the center and outdoor roads that were completely blocked. Long!
A strong smell of fire and gunpowder spread inside the center. An unpleasant feeling of insecurity and danger among hormone-obsessed fans could not be waved away, especially not when I was exposed to this with my little grandson.
Why can football fans in Sweden not make a normal, calm “folk party” of their football interest so that the rest of us can be at peace and feel safe in public places and in local traffic?
