Majorov second in the SM – 18-year-old won the gold

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Nikolaj Majorov finished second despite winning the free program on Saturday.

Nordebäck’s strong effort during Friday’s short program (83.82 points) was enough to break Nikolaj Majorov (who got 69.79 points).

Despite Majorov’s win in the free program, it was Andreas Nordebäck who had the best total score (228.19 against Majorov’s 216.43) and took the SM gold.

Sweden has only one place for the European Figure Skating Championship, which will be held in Espoo, Finland, in January. The Swedish Figure Skating Association has not announced who will get the spot. Nikolaj Majorov has competed for Sweden in the Olympics before, while the talent Andreas Nordebäck has finished tenth in the Junior World Championships.
