Majority of the Provincial Council of Utrecht votes for 2035 as a nitrogen target for nature

Majority of the Provincial Council of Utrecht votes for 2035

The motion had also been submitted during a parliamentary meeting at the end of June, but then the votes were tied. A motion by Volt, 50PLUS, ChristenUnie and BBB to set up a program with the aim of improving housing opportunities for young people aged 18 to 35 did not pass. D66 and SGP, among others, voted against. The parties stated that they consider good housing important for young people, among others, but that the province does not pursue a target group policy on this point and that this is the task of the municipalities.
