Train traffic to and from Utrecht Central Station was halted earlier in the day due to a disruption at the traffic control post. The fault was resolved around 3 p.m. and an hour and a half later trains were running “a smattering of time”. According to a spokesperson for the NS, the trains should run according to the timetable again around 8 p.m. “There may still be some delays here and there, but the biggest problems are over.”
