More than 7,000 households were without power during the night to Sunday in Östergötland and Småland.
According to Eon, the power outage occurred at 04.12 due to a “technical error”.
Most of the affected customers are in Åtvidaberg municipality, but residents in Linköping, Kinda and Västervik municipalities are also affected.

Donald Trump is back on his election tour after the assassination attempt.
– Last week I took a bullet for democracy, he said at a campaign meeting in Michigan, the first since the attack.
Trump repeated, to cheers from the crowd, that it was “the grace of God” that saved him from the bullet.
Wearing a slightly smaller bandage over his ear than the one he wore at the Republican convention this week, he took the opportunity to talk about the internal pressure on President Joe Biden.
– At this very moment, the Democrats’ party leaders are frantically trying to overturn the results of their own party’s primary election in order to remove villainous Joe Biden from the ballot, said the former president.
A car was blown up in a parking lot in the area of Rud in Karlstad during the night towards Sunday.
Just before 01:00, the police received a large number of calls from people who heard the explosion and found the car destroyed on the spot.
No one has been injured and the area around the car is now cordoned off pending bomb disposal.
A preliminary investigation into public-dangerous devastation has been initiated.
The explosion is described as very powerful.
– There were a lot of calls at the same time. Someone described it as a thunderclap with a flash of light and someone else that they had never heard anything like it, says Matilda Borgström, police officer on duty.
A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after what the police describe as a serious violent crime in a residential area in Norrköping during the night towards Sunday.
– It is messy at the place and very many people, says Dick Steisjö, commander at the police’s regional command center.
The crime is being investigated as attempted murder. The man has injuries to his upper body and has been able to be questioned by the police.
– He has injuries from a sharp or blunt bite, says Dick Steisjö.
The attempted murder occurred outdoors in Lindö. According to the police, it happened in close connection with a party held in a residence in the area.

The police were called to Södertälje at 11pm after shots were fired at a villa.

At 19.30 on Saturday, the police carried out a raid in a townhouse area in Vårby gård, south of Stockholm. According to information to Aftonbladet, a man was arrested by the task force who used stun grenades in the operation.
The police state on their website that the arrest concerned a bill of exchange from a taxi. A man and woman had traveled from Stockholm’s inner city, but refused to pay for the ride. The man instead showed an object that the taxi driver perceived as a weapon.
The man was arrested at the residence and the weapon turned out to be an air weapon. He is now suspected of unlawful threats.

Hospital staff in Gaza say they have rescued a baby boy from his mother’s womb after she died of injuries sustained in an Israeli attack.
The woman, nine months pregnant, only narrowly survived a night of attacks that, according to Hamas-controlled health authorities, killed at least 24 people.
But once at the hospital she was beyond saving, surgeon Akram Hussein tells the AFP news agency.
However, ultrasound showed that the fetus’s heart was still beating. With the help of caesarean section, the doctors managed to deliver the child, whose critical condition could be stabilized after treatment.
The boy was placed in an incubator and has been taken to another hospital in Deir el-Balah.
The mother was one of three women and a child who died in an Israeli drone attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to a representative of al-Awda Hospital. The woman’s husband is said to have been injured in the attack.
Israel has not confirmed the specific attack, but the military said in a general statement that it was “carrying out targeted operations against terrorist infrastructure” in central Gaza.
The statue of Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin in Saint Petersburg has been vandalized, reports say Newseek.
The statue, which was unveiled just three weeks ago, is now drenched in white paint.
Prigozhin died in a plane crash at the end of August last year – just two months after his soldiers marched on Moscow.
A tent has blown away and landed in the river after a tornado hit the Dance Band Week in Malung, reports SVT.
Four guests were slightly injured.

Three people have been taken to hospital after a traffic accident in Ulricehamn, reports Ulricehamns Tidning.
A passenger car has driven off the road and overturned.
The alarm came at 6 p.m. Emergency services and four ambulances were sent to the scene of the accident.
The extent of the damage is still unclear.
Microsoft estimates that 8.5 million devices were affected by Friday’s IT crash, the BBC reports.
It is probably the biggest IT crash in history to date.

Several targets in the port city of al-Hudaydah in Yemen have been attacked in a series of attacks on Saturday.
The Iran-backed Huthi movement, which controls large parts of Yemen including al-Hudaydah, states that, among other things, fuel depots were hit and that several people were killed and injured.
Israel’s military confirms that it attacked “military targets” belonging to the Huthi rebels in response to attacks on Israel.
The Houthi rebels attacked the Israeli city of Tel Aviv with drones on Friday. One person was killed and several others were injured in the attack. The Houthi rebels described the attack as revenge for Israel’s warfare in Gaza.
Large parts of Gotland were without power on Saturday afternoon.
According to Gotland’s electricity network, over 14,000 customers were affected.
By 7 p.m., almost all customers had their electricity restored.
