In the western parts of Nora municipality, a police operation is underway due to a suspected crime.
The police are tight-lipped about the incident but the scene has been cordoned off and the police are now asking the public for help.
– If you have seen something, we want you to contact us, then we can determine if it is of interest to the investigation, says Gabriel Henning, press spokesperson at the police.
The alarm about the suspected crime came in to the police just before 8 o’clock in the morning. At the moment, the police have not communicated what the crime classification is. According to information to SVT News Örebro it is a serious crime of violence.
In order to secure traces, a place has been cordoned off and the police have knocked on doors in the area to question any witnesses.
“There will continue to be roadblocks during the day and the public is asked to respect them,” the police write.
The police are also asking the public for help and asking people who saw something out of the ordinary in the area around Bergsäng in Gyttorp to contact the police on 114 14.
“If it is the case that you have made observations that are out of the ordinary in the area around Bergsäng in Gyttorp, you are asked to contact the police,” the police write on their website.
