PROVINCE OF UTRECHT – OV-NL, the umbrella organization of all Dutch bus, tram and regional transport companies, is concerned now that the government has announced that it will no longer provide financial support from 2023. According to the organization, travelers are only slowly returning to public transport after corona. “If this decision is not reconsidered and the travelers do not all return, this will have major consequences for the availability of mobility, because the transport companies will then have to make significant cuts in the offer,” says chairman Gerrit Spijksma.
