After the first round of the Shanghai LPGA tour competition, Maja Stark shared the lead with Thailand’s Wichanee Meechai.
However, the Thai had a difficult Friday, including a double bogey, and dropped to eighth place.
Ten under par overall
For Stark, it went all the better. Although she was noted for a bogey, she hit five birdies and thus went around the round at four strokes under par – and has ten under par in total.
She is now in sole lead, one stroke ahead of USA’s Danielle Kang and China’s Yu Liu.
The second best Swede is Frida Kinhult, who is five strokes behind Stark and is tied for 14th place.
