Maya was born on December 21, 1993 in Västerås and is a successful influencer, who has a large following on several platforms.
In the summer of 2018, she married the national team player Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, 29, and in early 2019 they had their first son together. It was then in April 2021 that Maja revealed that she and Victor were expecting their second child together.

The couple Nilsson Lindelöf have decided that they would like to have three children, if they are lucky. Right now Maja is terrified by the thought of another child and she just wants to cry at the thought. Emelie asks what the couple would do if they have another son and Maja says that she is not giving up hope of a daughter.
– I have bought books now on how to do it. I have an app, I already track my ovulation. I have friends who have done this in the team and it works. One has two boys and had two girls, because she wanted two girls, she says.
