With a glass of white wine in hand and a sparkling headband over her hair, she did Maja Nilsson Lindelöf29, entrance to the Stockholm stadium and the festival Summerburst.
The year was 2013, and this particular afternoon came to change Maja’s life forever. It was then that she met her current husband Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, 28. There at the Stadium, she made up her mind to just turn around. Maybe it was the wine, or maybe it was, as Maja herself says, energies.
– I don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t turned around. Because there he stood. With Ray-Bans on his shaved head. White rolled up shirt and a Heineken in hand. My future husband. The father of my children. I knew it then and there. Although I didn’t know his name. But there he was. Victor, says Maja in hers Summer in P1.
Since 2018, Maja and Victor have been married, and together they have two children. Ted Louie was born in March 2017. In October 2021, Victor and Maja had their son Francis.

In her blog on Elle, Maja has written about her wedding. The wedding took place on 25 May 2018 in Övergran’s church in Uppsala. Among Maja’s bridesmaids were Sanna Guidetti, and one of Victor’s marshals was John Guidetti.
On the surface, everything looked perfect, but in her blog the following year, Maja wrote about a sadness she felt after her wedding.
After attending CBT therapy, Maja had an insight. Maja thought she was just unhappy with her wedding dress, but it turned out there was something else behind it.
“I mourn. That I never got to cozy up in my wedding bubble with my loved ones. I mourn now and will probably always be sad when I look back on my wedding year,” Maja wrote in the blog.
She also writes that there were some fights before the wedding and that no one took into account that it was one of the most important days of her life. She wished she had gone around with her friends and tried on dresses, hairstyles and shoes.

“Of course I don’t put all that on others, or indeed I do, because I find it very difficult to see that I would ever destroy in that way for True. Or even start arguing with her about her wedding. I remember that I was even told that everything is not about me and my wedding. And of course they didn’t, but I don’t see it being about that for a second to some people. Only about them. The fact that it was one of the most important days of my life didn’t matter, no one took it into account at all,” wrote Maja in her blog.
