Maja Dahlqvist’s strong words about the fight with her boyfriend – now admits: “We made a mistake”

Maja Dahlqvist is forced to be away from boyfriend Kevin Bolger.
Now she talks honestly about the feelings surrounding the big fight.
– We have made a mistake, she tells Expressen.

Maja Dahlqvist and Kevin Bolger are one of the skiing world’s hottest couples, but right now the two stars, who compete for Sweden and the USA respectively, have problems. Dahlqvist has been open during the late summer and autumn that they would have liked to hang out right now, in the final stage of the preparations for next season, and then in Sweden, where Dahlqvist is.

But the couple hung out in Sweden during the summer, which meant that Bolger used up all the 90 days he had been given on his tourist visa. During the summer, Dahlqvist and Bolger trained together in Utah, USA, but the fact that they spent so much time in Sweden means that Bolger is now not allowed to be in Sweden anymore. The couple has applied for additional days, and Dahlqvist has pleaded for help and solutions to the problem in interviews.

But the star has not yet received any help, and Dahlqvist describes the situation as hopeless, and that she “can’t do more right now”.

– It’s tough for Kevin who can’t prepare for the season properly, Dahlqvist tells Expressen, and continues:

– I want to hang out with him, of course, but it’s more about his skiing. He needs a visa to compete and do his job.

“A mistake”

Bolger is outside the American national team, and the fact that he cannot be in Sweden and train with good conditions is holding him back. And Maja Dahlqvist regrets all the time the couple spent in Sweden during the summer. She admits that it was “a mistake”.

– Had we known how difficult it would be, we would have changed the plans during the summer to ensure that he had a few weeks in Sweden before the World Cup premiere, she says.

Kevin Bolger, with the visa crisis, looks set to miss the traditional Sweden premiere in Gällivare, but also the World Cup premiere in Raka. According to Expressen, however, he should have a place in the world cup competitions in both Östersund and Trondheim. Maja Dahlqvist says, jokingly, despite everything, the following:

– But we had a good midsummer anyway.
