Maja Dahlqvist’s chaos in Falun: “Never Happened Before”

Maja Dahlqvists chaos in Falun Never Happened Before

Maja Dahlqvist Had expected to fight, but it was the quarterfinals that would be most dramatic was unexpected to all of us.

Maja Dahlqvist’s chaos in the quarterfinals

In the quarterfinals it became unnecessarily dramatic for Maja Dahlqvist when she broke her rod in a bad position. After the incident it was delayed before she got a new rod and then she lost several seconds when it took time for her to put on her new rod.

This led to it being far ahead of the nearest rider – and even further to the two main positions, which was what was required for advancement to the semi -finals. Dahlqvist stood for a sensational pick -up when she finally managed to take the sought after second place.

– I am very happy that I moved on first and foremost. It was not the lightest quarterfinals I went in my life, but it became a very costly quarterfinals. It was like a victory to move on from it, Maja Dahlqvist told News24.

Also Johanna Hagström Was impressed with Dahlqvist’s performance, which she was clear with when News24 talked to her.

– Yes, but it was completely sick. I stood there holding my breath. She should get it for it, says Hagström and laughs.

Maja Dahlqvist responded to Hagström’s tributes:

– I have to look at the race myself because I was so in it. I just had focus forward. But it is usually not possible to move on when you stop after the track and get a new rod and then drive on. It has never happened to before anyway.
