Maja Bodin lowered IFK Norrköping again

The Women’s Allsvenskan is underway again after the WC break and on Saturday IFK Norrköping took on Kif Örebro for the team’s restart.

The last time the teams met, Örebro won after Maja Bodin scored the only goal of the match early in the first half.

And so it would also be in the return meeting.

In the 35th minute of the match, Regan Steigleder’s cross found Bodin in the penalty area and the 21-year-old could easily poke the ball into the goal. It is Bodin’s sixth Allsvenskan goal of the season.

— It’s important to get a ball in there so we get a little extra energy. So it was nice, says the goalscorer to Discovery+.

Bodin’s goal from the first half would stand and the match ended 1–0 to Örebro.

With the win, Örebro is now in tenth place in the table and thus leaves the qualifying spot. IFK Norrköping is in ninth place.
