Today, June 26, 2023, Diablo 4 will be undergoing maintenance. But for all players or only for US players? The servers should not be available for 5 hours. We’ll show you the times.
What is this maintenance work? Diablo 4 has two scheduled maintenance dates for the week of June 26th through July 2nd:
These two dates can be viewed on the Blizzard support website. However, so far only on the US version of the support website and not yet on the German one (as of June 26 at 8:40 a.m.). In the community it is unclear whether Blizzard has simply not completely updated the German site, or whether the server down really only applies to US players.
To be on the safe side, we show you the times for the planned maintenance work here. We’ve reached out to Blizzard for a statement and will update the article once it’s clear which regions are affected by the server down.
How long are the servers down today? Information about the server status
Duration of maintenance work: On the support website, Blizzard writes that the servers will go offline at 9:00 a.m. PDT and will then probably be up and running again 5 hours later. 9:00 a.m. PDT is 6:00 p.m. German time.
The server down runs from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. German time. If all goes according to plan, the maintenance work should then be complete. Servers may be offline longer if problems arise. Or they are available earlier.
What’s in it? It is not yet clear why the maintenance work will be carried out. Only at the weekend did Blizzard fight DDoS attacks, which led to longer queues and login problems.
In the comments on the support website, the Blizzard team simply states that the game will be unavailable during the maintenance period. So be prepared to have to take a forced break tonight from 6:00 p.m.
When is the next maintenance work? The next date for maintenance work is tomorrow, June 27th. They should then start at 6:30 p.m. German time and also last until 11:00 p.m. Again, it is unclear whether the date also applies to the German region or only affects US players.
Even with this date, the comments only state that Diablo 4 will not be available during this time.
