Maibritt and Martina went to the spa – and got a shock.
In the pools and sauna, the couples were more intimate than they had expected.
– I would have gone to a swingers club if I wanted to check out that kind of thing, says Maibritt.
One weekend at the end of March, 53-year-old Maibritt Jersby and her friend Martina went to Strandbaden in Falkenberg.
On previous visits, “everything was great”, but this time they got a shock, something Hallansposten also reported on.
– There were people messing around everywhere. I didn’t know where to look. And then there was a girl who sat with her hand inside the pants of the guy in the pool. I have no desire to swim around when people have almost splashed into the pool. So then we went to another outdoor pool, she says.
Maibritt and Martina then chose to leave the spa department and go home. After being in contact with Strandbaden, they were offered another spa visit.
Then the same thing happened again.
– There were two people lying on two chairs by the hot sauna and it was not far from having sex. Then they came out and continued by the hot tub. I’ve never seen anything like it. And I’m not shy, I’m Danish, says Maibritt.

“Get a room”
They contacted the staff at the bath, but nothing happened, she says.
Then they took matters into their own hands.
– “Get a room” both Martina and I said several times. They must have heard it. We thought it was disgusting.
There will not be any more visits to Strandbaden, according to Maibritt.
– No, this was the last time. I have always thought it was cozy at Strandbaden, but now we will go to Tylösand instead.

CEO: “Sorry”
Falkenberg’s beach resort CEO Emil Lindmark regrets what happened Hallandsposten.
According to Lindmark, it has happened in the past that they had to intervene when guests got too close.
– Yes, it has happened that staff have told guests to go up to the room because they have been too intimate. We have as a routine that we intervene if things happen that do not fit in and around the pools. Our spa should be for all guests. You shouldn’t be intimate like that. It is not acceptable, he tells the newspaper and continues:
– It is not a recurring problem that we have. I have looked historically for the whole year, collected feedback and see no other incidents.
