Netflix’s big bet Helicopter Robbery has become an instant hit, loved by viewers and praised by critics. “Exciting and believable down to the smallest detail,” wrote Today’s News Fredrik Sahlin and awarded a rating of four out of five.
Even in The evening paper Netflix series received the second highest rating from the film critic Karolina Fjellborg who called it “sweaty and delicious coup romance”. The newspaper The Express went a step further and called it “The best Swedish series of the year”.
In the eight-part series – directed by Daniel Espinosa – so the viewers get to know the robbers behind one of Sweden’s most spectacular crimes ever.

At 05:15 on September 23, 2009, a stolen Bell 206 Jet Ranger landed at the G4S value depot in Västberga in Stockholm. Four men jumped out, smashed an atrium window and then blew open several doors.
To prevent the police from intervening with their police helicopter, the perpetrators had placed a bomb ramp at the only local helicopter base.
After about half an hour, the robbers were finished and were able to escape with their loot: SEK 39 million.

In the Netflix series, the character is played Rami of Mahmut Suvacki, which most people recognize from Snabba Cash, the Johan Falk films, Top Dog and In your hands.
What perhaps not everyone is aware of is that in addition to his successful acting career, Mahmut is also something of a super-entrepreneur with companies that turn over SEK 40 million.
Together with my best friend Joel Kinnaman Mahmut started Lily’s Burger in 2013 at Nytorget on Södermalm in Stockholm, and later the duo expanded their business to a restaurant in Hornsbergs Strand.

– Everyone who is not a vegetarian loves meat. Everyone loves cheese and everyone loves bread. If you take the three together, you can’t go wrong. Here in Sweden, we are food experts, everyone has a great interest in cooking. You understand that it’s good and that it’s good to get full for a good price, Mahmut said in an interview with The entertainment guide.

But the burger hook is not Mahmut’s only pub. News24 has taken a closer look at his activities, and the acting star has also founded the falafel restaurant Falloumi in Skanstull and the kebab restaurant Cok, which, together with Lilys Burger, has a turnover of over SEK 46 million.
In 2020, Svenska Dagbladet named Mahmut a “hidden power holder” in the restaurant industry, and also wrote that Kinnaman owns 20 percent of the success story Falloumi.

Falloumi
Falloumi, located on Ringvägen on Södermalm in Stockholm, opened its doors in 2017. The restaurant specializes in “fine-falafel” and every week they also offer what is called the “vegan of the week”.
In addition to falafel with various accessories, it is also possible to order beer or natural wines, which are the restaurant’s specialty. When the site Damn Good – which specializes in vegan and vegetarian food – visited the restaurant and was rated “among the best falafel I’ve eaten”.
Çok
Cok serves “fine cut döner” and calls its kebab “fine fast-food”, which is always made with freshly grilled veal and freshly baked bread. Cok is available, just like Lilys Burger, both on Södermalm and on Kungsholmen by Hornsberg beach.

According to information from All Companies which News24 has taken part in the turnover of Lilys Burger AB, with seven employees, seven million kroner in 2023.
Restaurant Kalabalik AB
Mahmut is also chairman of Kalabalik AB with nine employees. The company had a turnover of SEK 10.3 million in 2023.
Spinning AB
There are nine employees in Snurrar AB. During 2023, the company’s turnover was SEK 8.1 million.
BC Burger Söder AB
BC Burger Söder AB has 13 employees and had a turnover of SEK 12.9 million in 2023.
Frudam AB
Mahmut Suvacki is also a member of Frudam AB with eleven employees, which according to Alla Bolag had a turnover of SEK 8.3 million in 2023.
