Just a few months after The Walking Dead ended, the zombie franchise is entering a new era. New spin-off series will continue the stories of numerous characters. The series is the beginning The Walking Dead: Dead City, which reunites Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) several years after the finale. Fans don’t have to wait much longer until the start.
The Walking Dead: Dead City launches in June
The Walking Dead: Dead City will be released in the US on June 18, 2023 start at AMC. The first season consists of six episodes that will be broadcast weekly. It is not yet known when and where the series will be shown in Germany.
As Comicbook.com reports, showrunner Eli Jorne also confirmed at Wonder-Con that a well-known character was recast for the spin-off.

Maggie and Negan in Dead City
Dead City will take place several years after The Walking Dead finale. The spin-off will bring Maggie and Negan together for a dangerous rescue mission. Because Maggie’s son Hershel was kidnapped.
