Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise52, and her American partner, the shaman Durek Verrett49, is facing a grand wedding this weekend in Geiranger, Norway.
But a Swedish royalty shines with its absence – Princess Madeleine.
Despite the fact that several Swedish royals, including Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Danielwill attend, the court has now confirmed that Princess Madeleine and her husband Chris O’Neill will not be participating in the festivities.

The court confirms
The bride and groom themselves describe the wedding as a real adventure and announce that the party will last for 4 days. But the court’s information manager, Margaret Thorgrenconfirms in a comment to Svensk Damtidning that only Crown Princess Victoria and husband Daniel will attend the “adventure”:
“The Crown Princess Couple and the Prince Couple will be present at the wedding. As it is a private event, we have no further information to provide,” writes Margareta Thorgren to Swedish Women’s Magazine.
The message confirms that Madeleine will not attend.

Surprising absence
Princess Madeleine’s decision to turn down the wedding has attracted attention, especially given that Märtha Louise attended Madeleine’s own wedding to Chris O’Neill in 2013.
According to information to Svensk Damtidning, Madeleine and Chris should have been invited to the Norwegian event, which makes their absence even more remarkable.
