“Macron wants France to go to war”: Le Pen accuses and evokes “revelations” from Ukraine

Macron wants France to go to war Le Pen accuses

Marine Le Pen believes that the president has taken “an additional step” towards France entering the war. And claims to rely on “revelations” from Ukraine.

Marine Le Pen assured, this Thursday, May 30 on Franceinfo, that Emmanuel Macron wanted “France to go to war”. This reaction follows the French president’s remarks made during a press conference in Germany where he declared that kyiv must be allowed to “neutralize the Russian military sites from which the missiles are fired”, even with Western weapons. “If we tell them you do not have the right to reach the point from which the missiles are fired, in fact we tell them, we are delivering weapons to you but you cannot defend yourself,” declared Emmanuel Macron.

For the president of the National Rally group in the Assembly, it would be nothing more and nothing less than “an additional step of investment in this conflict” having the consequence of “creating an absolutely staggering danger for the security of our compatriots and on the integrity of our territory. She also recalled that Emmanuel Macron had previously mentioned sending troops to Ukrainian territory, refusing to exclude this possibility.

For her part, Marine Le Pen assured that she was in favor of the delivery of defensive weapons to Ukraine but was against the fact of “authorizing Ukraine with the weapons that it was supplied to strike Russian territory “. According to the latter, these are “mechanics for entry into world war”. “I am opposed to anything that could create the risk of a global conflict where France would also be on the front line.”

Marine Le Pen especially returned to the possible sending of French instructors to train the Ukrainian soldiers announced by kyiv but not confirmed by the president. For her, this is a decision already taken by the president, but which is currently secret or confidential. “Emmanuel Macron is obviously preparing to announce that we are going to send French military personnel to Ukraine, instructors in large numbers,” revealed the politician.

“It was Ukraine which revealed this, perhaps a little too early for Emmanuel Macron, who perhaps wanted to keep this announcement for next week,” she added. Once again, Marine Le Pen opposed this idea: “I am sorry to participate in fanning this announcement but it is, again, an additional step which is worrying.”
