French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi are planning a joint trip to Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, reports Bild, citing French and Ukrainian government sources.
The news comes after Macron and Scholz received harsh criticism for not doing enough to support the country in the fight against Russia and not having previously traveled to Ukraine.
The three leaders will, according to the newspaper’s information, complete the trip before the G7 meeting on June 26-28 in the German Alps.
