Announced at WWDC 23 macOS Sonoma It has officially launched and is now available as a free software update for Mac users. However, there are certain hardware requirements to upgrade to macOS Sonoma. You’ll need one of the following Mac models to install this update:

  • MacBook Pro: 2018 or later
  • Mac mini: 2018 or later
  • iMac: 2019 or later
