Macho-Yoda Andrew Tate seems kind of disappointed by the rich Padawan Adin Ross

For some young men on the net, kickboxer and influencer Andrew Tate (36) is something of a role model for being a real man who lives right and does really manly things for men. Tate has a sort of mentoring relationship with former Twitch streamer Adin Ross, who has now inked a big deal with Kick.

What is it with Adin Ross and Andrew Tate?

  • Andrew Tate sees himself as a mentor to the successful streamer Adin Ross. The two have known each other since mid-2022, when Ross invited the former kickboxer to his Twitch stream. Tate is seen by some as a role model of what a man should be like. He urged Adin Ross to train to be more of himself.
  • Andrew Tate has been banned from most online platforms since late summer 2022 and is considered a difficult person due to his many scandals and misogynist statements. But Adin Ross gives him a platform and interviews him. When Adin Ross talks about or with Andrew Tate, he gets huge views. However, Ross has since been permanently banned from Twitch.
  • In March 2023, Adin Ross struck a major deal with streaming service Kick, which reportedly gave him “the best deal ever.” Andrew Tate is now commenting on this.
  • Twitch streamer Asmongold etches: “Stop watching 3am streams if you don’t have money!”

What does Tate say to Adin Ross? As Sportskeeda reports, Tate was apparently dissatisfied with his protégé. He criticized him for taking the drug “Lean,” a substance created when you mix prescription cough syrup with a soft drink.

Apparently, Tate isn’t very happy that Adin Ross has now made so much money. This somehow contradicts Tate’s philosophy:

He is a very fortunate young man. He made a lot of money early in life, which is great, but it can also destroy you. Money is an amplifier.

Tate also said he feels responsible for Adin and wants to bring “the best” out of Ross.

“Not man enough to be so rich”

What’s the problem with money? Tate hints that easy money can spoil character:

Money will not change who you are. It will reinforce who you are. I’m not Top G or anyone. I’m not the man because I’m rich. I am the man because I was the man when I was poor and then I got rich. If you’re an idiot and then you get rich, you’re a very rich idiot.”

According to Andrew Tate, Adin Ross must first go through and overcome a number of difficulties before he can prove himself worthy of the money.

Tate elaborates: A get-rich-quick young man should panic and say to himself, “I’m not worthy of the money. I’m not man enough for that kind of money.”

Because anyone who becomes rich as a young and weak man will also become a target, for example by “gold diggers”, i.e. women who are only after men’s money. It is therefore important for people who get so much money young to become men quickly:

You have to get strong first. You have to go through some valleys. You have to get stuff done first.

Why is Tate considered so difficult? Andrew Tate has repeatedly attracted attention in the past with unacceptable, misogynist statements. There are also allegations that he is involved in human trafficking and the founding of a criminal organization dedicated to the sexual exploitation of women.

    Tate denies all allegations.

Why is this exciting? The exciting thing about the case is that Andrew Tate, despite all the legal problems, manages to present himself as an idol for a group of young men online who are apparently looking for male identification and with “I saw Fight Club and didn’t understand” statements ended up with him.

Tate is all about becoming “a man” or being “the man”.

The Sportskeeda site cites some statements from these fans revolving around Adin: Ross

  • “must change”
  • had to “go to the gym”.
  • had to stop hanging out with losers like “IShowspeed and Kai Cenat”.
  • had to pay Andrew Tate $1 million to coach him
  • Apparently the very life Adin Ross or xQc lead is the “wimpy boy life” that goes absolutely against Tate’s teachings.

A culture seems to be forming or has already formed around Andrew Tate, which is fascinated by a male ideal image in which everything seems to revolve around fitness, material success and “being the man”.
