If a new MacBook Air M4 is expected for this month of March, some leaks already report a particularly disappointing point.
If you intend to acquire a new laptop In the coming days, it may be better for you to expect a little! Apple provides for some announcements for this start of 2025 with in particular a new MacBook Air M4. This laptop would be officially revealed during the month of March.
The new MacBook Air M4 would not be planned with a lot of new products. It would be more of a again concerning its power by including the last M4 chip that we already find on the latest MacBook Pro and the 2024 iPad Pro. This supposedly powerful chip would allow the MacBook Air M4 to enjoy a nice boost of performance for everyday applications. This new power could however make some disappointed in view of the first information leaks on the MacBook Air M4.
The Geekbench site brings together several performance tests from different machines to establish a classification. The members of this site have notably released a first version of the data relating to the MacBook Air M4, even before its official announcement. If the latter would be at the same level as the last iPad Pro (also provided with a M4 chip), performance gains would be below expectations.
The MacBook Air M4 would still benefit from better power compared to its predecessor by displaying a score of 55,516 (against 48,500 for the MacBook Air M3). This should guarantee some interest in the next Apple laptop, but is it enough to fall for this new model and not on the previous generation that will logically benefit from a price drop?
