Contribution ceiling, reduced unemployment insurance, stricter requirements and more internships.

That is the main line in the Moderates’ proposal to break the exclusion.

Under a moderate-led government, the grant ceiling must be fully implemented during the next term. The new disbursement authority that will be introduced in 2024 will administer the grant ceiling.

It should always pay more to work than to live on benefits, according to the Moderates. Therefore, the party also wants to lower the unemployment insurance fund.

The party says no to making permanent the increase made during the pandemic. The A-fund will have a sharper phase-out and the total time will be shortened to one year.

In order to receive grants at all, the Moderates require full-time activity from grant recipients. Everyone must be prepared to move to take a job.

In order to make more people employable, the Moderates propose an expansion of the number of internships by 30,000. They should primarily be for the long-term unemployed. The education obligation must also be tightened.
