M has presented 52 proposals to prevent young people from becoming criminals.
M leader Ulf Kristersson believes that the crime prevention measures must be more targeted at those who are most at risk of ending up in crime. – Targeted prevention has long been controversial, because it is said that it singles out people, says Kristersson.
Among other things, M wants social services to be allowed to make higher demands on parents to participate in investigations so that the children do not end up in crime. It is also proposed that social services should be allowed to decide on curfews for young people.
