Lycksele Airport will be upgraded, through a so-called reopening of the runway, something that is estimated to take three weeks and cost just under SEK 25 million.
– It was 18 years since we last rebuilt the runway, so now there is a need. It will take three weeks and during that period we will close the airport for all air traffic, says Josef Kahn, airport manager at Lycksele airport.
Do you see any risk that the work may be delayed?
– No, I do not see such a risk at the moment, we have planned an extra margin to ensure that, says Josef Kahn.
