LVenture Group revenues up 6 in the first quarter

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Venture Groupa Venture Capital holding company listed on the Euronext Milan market, closed the first quarter of 2023 with miscellaneous revenues and income equal to 1.6 million euros, 6% higher than at 31 March 2022 (1.5 million). Revenues from Open Innovation activities had a positive impact, including the partnership with Leonardo for Business Innovation Factory (BIF), the Zero Vertical Accelerators (Cleantech) and Argo (Traveltech), the innovation programs carried out for FS and participation in the Rome Technopole promoted by the MUR.

The Total value of the investment portfolio is equal to 30.2 million euros (+1% compared to 29.9 million as at 31 December 2022). The Gross Operating Margin is in balance (10 thousand euros), compared to 0.7 million in the first quarter of 2022.

“The first quarter of 2023 saw revenue growth of 6% compared to the first quarter of 2022, thanks to a strong contribution from the Innovation & Corporate Venturing activitieswith an increase in turnover of 63% compared to the same period of the previous year”, commented theCEO Luigi Capello.

“Operational activity showed better results than budget forecaststo which must be added the recent exit from the Filo startup – he added – In a global Venture Capital market context conditioned by well-known macroeconomic events, LVenture Group actively supports portfolio startups to maximize value and is increasing advisory activities which see the company as one of the main innovation enablers of the major international corporations”.
