“I would just like to let you know that I am well and feeling like myself after the cardiac arrest I suffered in Bournemouth,” writes Lockyer.
Lockyer, who also collapsed with heart problems last spring, feels great gratitude.
“The reason I feel so well is entirely because of the heroic actions of the players, doctors and paramedics. I feel grateful that they were around when this happened to me. They saved my life, I will never forget what you did for me,” Lockyer writes.
It is unclear if Lockyer will resume his career.
