The research shows that cancers such as lung cancer, liver, stomach and head and neck cancer occur more often in low-income groups. While forms such as skin cancer, breast, prostate and testicular cancer occur more often in higher income groups. According to the INKL, an important difference is that patients from higher income groups generally had a more favorable stage at diagnosis than patients from lower income groups.
