Lulu Carter and Carolina Gynning are mocked after the picture

The interior design profile Lulu Carter, 62, became known to the Swedish people in Äntligen hemma on TV4. Today she works as an interior designer and also has the jewelry brand Lulu Carter Jewelry.

During the metoo wave in the fall of 2017, Lulu Carter was one of the first to come out and make public accusations against the television profile Martin Timellwith whom Lulu worked together on Finally home.

On social media, Lulu has thousands of followers, and it was there that she recently chose to address a hot topic – namely vaccines. Lulu Carter writes that she regrets getting vaccinated against Covid.

“Who more than I regret that you vaccinated yourselves. “Against” covid ??”, she wrote, urging her followers not to vaccinate themselves. Lulu Carter also writes that she has been “severely affected” by the vaccine.

Previously have Swedish daily newspaper examined how influencers spread vaccine conspiracy theories. Among other things, the newspaper then wrote about the reality profile Alexandra Northwho talked about Qanon, an “invisible war,” the “cabal” and the Deep State—all known conspiracy theories.

Also the newspaper The weekly review have written about how influencers spread conspiracy theories on Instagram, and then they reported on how Paulina “Paow” Danielsson spread misinformation about the covid vaccine.

In the comment section, Lulu Carter has met support from the friend Carolina Gynning.

“Would never take this vaccine and now I know why! Only more and more crap will come out about this vaccine,” wrote Carolina Gynning.

Both Lulu Carter’s and Carolina Gynning’s claims about the corona vaccine were questioned by the Instagram profile Leo Vene who runs the humor account The dung beetle gala on Instagram.

“Here we go again,” he captioned a screenshot of Lulu Carter’s post. He followed up with a screenshot from an interview with Lulu Carter in which she shared that she “tests most things” in the way of treatment when it comes to beauty.

Even Carolina Gynning got a toss of the ladle. Vene shared a screenshot from an article that described how Carolina Gynning tested frog poison and then “spit up black lumps”.

When Gynning visited the Spanish island of Ibiza in 2020, she underwent the controversial poison treatment. In another text message The Express she wrote:

“It was a fantastic experience but also very difficult. It’s called Kambo, it’s poison from a frog from the Amazon that you insert into your arm through burn holes. It’s like medicine to detox and get clean of old poisons and blockages. You vomit everything bad you have in your body. It made me very calm”.

In the comment section, Lulu Carter is met with mixed reactions from followers. Some of Lulu’s followers testify to similar experiences and clearly express their vaccine skepticism, while others strongly question Carter’s reasoning.

Some reactions read:

“All you anti-vaxers out there: You know that you yourselves are vaccinated against measles, rubella, mumps and probably also polio, whooping cough, tetanus and tuberculosis. Thanks to your efforts, these diseases are eradicated in Sweden today. We should all be happy about that over.”

“The vaccine saves lives! I’m so glad I did it”

The chief physician at Karolinska Institutet has researched vaccine skepticism

Lecture Petrovic is a university lecturer, senior physician and docent at Karolinska Institutet. He does research at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience.

Last year, the newspaper Medicinsk Vetenskap wrote, via Karolinska Institutetabout how false vaccine rumors can take hold.

Petrovic has researched how the personality trait of psychosis is connected to odd conspiracy theories such as the covid vaccine. His research showed that those with a greater tendency to psychosis more easily embraced conspiracy theories, and especially those regarding the corona pandemic. Delusions were also common.

But showering vaccine skeptics with counterarguments usually doesn’t help, Petrovic said in the interview with Medicinsk Vetenskap.

– It seems that too much evidence in one direction strengthens the counter-evidence in some individuals. This is incredibly interesting, I think. These people probably need more clear information than others and also to hear about the vaccine from people they trust, he explained in the interview with Medicinsk Vetenskap.

Camilla Gervide: “It’s disrespectful”

Camilla Gervide runs Blogbevakning under Nyheter24’s banner, and since 2016 she has reviewed influencers. Camilla Gervide was, among other things, the one who revealed how Isabella Löwengrip had faked a threat against himself, and how Löwengrip had then made a lot of money by manipulating his statistics.

Last year, Gerivde also started the debate about the return of the size zero ideal. She is currently working on the book “They call us influencers”.

What do you think of Lulu Carter and Carolina Gynning spreading this kind of information about the vaccine?

– I think it is ignorant and disrespectful, says Camilla Gervide to Nyheter24.
