The team from Norrbotten first defeated Finnish Jukurit 5-2 at Bortais in Sankt Michel in eastern Finland. Victory architect was Einar Emanuelsson, who was responsible for two of the goals. Emanuelsson thus scored twice as many goals in the match as he scored during the entire regular season in the SHL last year.
