Luleå Municipality’s response to the responsibility for murdered Tintin: “Do not agree”

IVO has found serious deficiencies in the social services’ actions on three investigations regarding Tintin and identified seven points where Luleå Social Committee has failed.

Among other things, IVO believes that the Board failed to make a risk assessment and excluded information in a supplement to the High Court that would have been important for the court’s assessment of access.

– It was in running text, but on the other hand it is important we see now, that was then that we are heading it clearer, says Saxin.

Difficult with the risk assessment

The answer to the opinion of the Social Committee is that it was chosen to focus on the parts requested by the High Court but takes Ivo’s criticism about the risk assessment.

“However, it was difficult for the social services to get a sufficiently overall picture that could result in a risk assessment when the father refused to participate in the investigation,” the Social Committee writes in its response.

“No explicit obligation”

IVO also criticizes the fact that no recommendation on socializing has been submitted in family law’s quick information. Here, the Social Committee believes that they cannot see that there is any explicit obligation to leave one.

The measures already taken by the Social Committee lists, among other things, skills training, a checklist for staff on social issues and increased collaboration between unit managers and specialist socionomas.
