Last season, the team won its sixth SM gold and the fifth straight gold. The city park in Luleå was filled with hundreds of joyful supporters.
And there can be more gold. On Friday evening, there is a drop in the final against Modo, who will compete for the SM crown for the first time in ten years.
Luleå has three wins in the bag
It is the first time the two teams face each other in a final. During the past season, Luleå has won three out of four matches against Modo.
So it won’t be Brynäs like the last three years.
– No matter who we meet, we have to win, says forward Noora Tulus.
Luleå have become Swedish champions in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
