Luleå captain Erik Gustafsson received two match penalties in the same period – but was acquitted both times

First, Erik Gustafsson went into HV goalkeeper Joni Ortio and received a match penalty. It was then changed to a two-minute suspension.

Then it was eight minutes before the referees awarded a match penalty to the team captain again. That time for a slashing at Oskar Stål-Lyrenäs, but it was reduced to 2+2 for high stick.

– This is a very good thing. That the judge has the opportunity to look at it and make the right decision, says Jonas Andersson.

Luleå won the match 4-3 after extra time.
